Huntertones to play at The Ritz
Main Street Toccoa and The Ritz Theatre will welcome the Brooklyn-based Huntertones on Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m., as part of its Night at the Ritz series. The Huntertones bring people together around the globe with music that is fun, imaginative and fearless. Their high energy, horn-driven sound fuses improvisation and adventurous composition, melding jazz, funk, rock and soul. Since their 2013 move from Ohio to New York, the Huntertones have released two albums, toured across the US and Europe, and have served as musical ambassadors in South America, Africa, and Eastern Europe through the American Music Abroad Program. Night at the Ritz, a regular event series at the historic Ritz Theatre, is funded, in part, by a generous grant received from the National Endowment for the Arts, Georgia Council for the Arts, and the Fox Theatre Institute. Tickets for all shows may be purchased online at www.ritztheatretoccoa.com or at the Toccoa Welcome Center. Adult tickets are $10, children under 12 and students with an ID are $5. For more information on the performance or Night at the Ritz, contact Ritz Theatre General Manager Danita Gaudette at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 706-244-0039.
