Police find marijuana in closet

    A response to a domestic violence incident led Toccoa police officers to the discovery of a marijuana growing in a closet.
    Police chief Jimmy Mize said that officers responded just after midnight on Friday, Dec. 21, to a residence on Crestlawn Drive where a woman, Redda Jones Holland, reported that a man had taken her cell phone and grabbed her around the neck when she tried to get it back.
    Donald Eric Holland, 51, was arrested and charged with simple battery/family violence, Mize said.
