Sullivan recognized during Manufacturing Appreciation Week

    Eden Sullivan, a first grader at Liberty Elementary School in Toccoa, celebrated with Gov. Brian Kemp recently at the Governor’s Awards Luncheon.
    Sullivan received honorable mention in the 2019 Manufacturing Appreciation Week (MAW) student design contest in the kindergarten through fifth grade category.             She received a $50 scholarship check presented by Anne Kaiser, vice president of Community and Economic Development at Georgia Power, during the luncheon on April 18, at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.
    Sullivan said she loves to draw, especially animals and may want to be an artist one day. She said she often draws foxes and trees with pencils, paints and crayons in art class.
