All About Grace, an annual community event for women, will be held Saturday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toccoa First United Methodist Church.
Started in 2007 and held annually, there is no admission fee or registration required for the All About Grace event.
Angela Moore of Clarkston will be the featured speaker.
She is a native of Macon, Miss., and earned her bachelor of science degree in biology from Tougaloo College in Jackson, Miss.
Moore is currently pursuing a dual master of divinity and master of practical theology from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur.
Her professional career includes positions as a medical technologist, medical laboratory instructor and supervisor, Mary Kay sales director, and Christian education director.
Moore has held many leadership roles in her community and co-leads First Baptist Church of Clarkston where her husband is senior pastor.
The Georgia House of Representatives, District 85 honored Moore for community service in the Clarkston area.
My Sister’s Keeper Foundation also presented her their Woman of Excellence award.
Moore is a gifted teacher, speaker and motivator. She said she loves serving and encouraging women and teaching discipleship training classes.
An ordained minister, Moore is passionate about helping women live grace-filled lives.
She presently serves as the Minister’s Wives and Widows 5th District Coordinator of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia.
Moore said she receives great joy in life serving in ministry beside her husband of 41 years and being mom to her two sons.
The Moores served in Toccoa at Friendship Baptist Church in the early 2000s.
Leading worship at All About Grace will be Maggie Smallwood of Stephens County.
Smallwood attends The Pointe where she is a part of the worship choir and serves as a leader of worship.
