The fifth annual Toast of Toccoa will be held Saturday, April 30, from noon to 6 p.m. in downtown Toccoa.
Artists’ booths, area wineries, classic cars and food vendors will once again line Doyle Street from Hill Street to Alexander Street.
Tickets for beer and wine samples can be purchased at the tent at the corner of Doyle Street and Sage Street for $2 a ticket.
ID’s will be checked at the ticket booth before tickets can be purchased. Beer and wine open containers will not be allowed outside of the festival area.
The wineries will be located on Doyle Street from Sage Street to Pond Street and will offer wine tastings.
Bottles of wine can be purchased at the different wine booths. Currahee Vineyards, Sweet Acres Winery, Farm 2 Cocktail, Flora de Mel Meadery, and Southern Distributers will be participating this year.
Food trucks will be located on Doyle St from Pond St – Hill St. Soulful Creations, Dot Bowl, Mike’s on the Go, The Hideaway, and Chick-fil-a will all be participating.
Other vendors, located on Doyle between Pond and Sage streets include Be-Freeze, Farm 328, Living Room Roasters, and Jabo’s Hot Sauce.
The entertainment stage will be located at the intersection of Sage Street and Doyle Street.
Split Shot will perform from 1-3 p.m. and Joe Hott will be on stage from 3-6 p.m.
Cruzin’ Down Doyle, a monthly cruise in, will be located on Doyle Street from Sage Street to Alexander Street.
Spaces will be limited and the entrance will be on Alexander Street. There is no entrance fee.
Artisans from the Currahee Artists Guild and other regional arts organizations will display their artwork in separate booths set up throughout the downtown area.
Visitors will be able to talk one-on-one with the individual artist about their particular work and will be able to purchase selected works of art.
There is no cost for admission to the event.
The presenting sponsor is Northeast Georgia Health System and participating sponsors are TruVista, Kersha Parker State Farm and Mike Jones Ford and Lincoln.
