The Miss Stephens County High School Pageant was held Saturday, Jan. 15. The theme of the pageant was Winter Wonderland. Thirty-five contestants graced the stage with confidence, poise and beauty. Intermission entertainment was provided by SCHS students Zikerion Reese and the RADC Ensemble. The following individuals received awards: Miss Entrepreneur runner up receiving a trophy and $50 went to Lorelai Hamby and the winner of a trophy and $100 was Teegan Jameson. Most Photogenic was awarded to Eve Andrews. Miss Indian Spirit was awarded to Hazel Collier. Miss Congeniality was awarded to Zarica Carvin. Best Interview was awarded to Layne Oldham. Audrey Morris was Miss Freshman runnerup. Annie Smith was crowned as Miss Freshman. Miss Sophomore runnerup was Grace Ellis. Sailor Ott was crowned Miss Sophomore. Miss Junior runnerup was Emilee Kesler and Haley Carter was crowned as Miss Junior. Katie Grace Randall was Miss Senior first runnerup and Lupita Mendez was crowned as Miss Senior. Layne Oldham was crowned Miss SCHS 2022. She received a $1,000 Scholarship to her college of choice.
