The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bid proposals for the non-hazardous waste disposal and recycling of the five Stephens County Convenience Sites and the Stephens County Public Works. The locations of the convenience sites and public works are:

The non-hazardous waste disposal proposal will be done in strict compliance with the schedule "A" found in the bid package for the five convenience sites and public works. Hours of operation of each convenience site and public works are in schedule "B" found in the bid package. Bids will be received by the Stephens County Board of Commissioners office, 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577. All bids submitted shall be clearly marked: Stephens County Government Convenience Site and Public Works Waste Disposal Services, and delivered to Mrs. Beth Rider, Stephens County Board of Commissioners Clerk, at the County Commissioners Office, 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 on or before 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, November 22, 2019. All sealed bids will be publicly opened on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia and announced. No faxed bids will be received or accepted.
All bids should be as per schedule "A".
Each bidder must agree that all services will be performed without unreasonable delay and without suspension of work unless authorized in writing by the Stephens County Public Works Director or their designee. If there are unreasonable delays or unauthorized suspension of work, Stephens County reserves the right to charge the contractor, not a penalty, but liquidated damages, the cost to the county as may be determined by the Stephens County Board of Commissioners.
The Requirements of the O.C.G.A. Code Sections 50-24-6 relating to the Drug Free Workplace Act must be complied with in all respects. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish to the Stephens County Board of Commissioners a certificate of insurance showing workers compensation, personal injury and property damage in an amount deemed acceptable by the Stephens County Board of Commissioners and proof of all applicable licenses in the state of Georgia. The firms bidding shall provide an E-Verify and SAVE affidavit and a W-9 which is enclosed with the bid proposal. Failure to provide E-Verify documentation could make the bid subject to rejection. O.C.G.A. & 13-10-990 GA Sect. & Immigration Compliance Act of 2006 shall also apply.
Stephens County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Americans with Disabilities Act hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap/disable in consideration of an award.

Robinson and Arvena Clark a/k/a Arvie Clark to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as grantee, as nominee for Alacrity Lending Company, its successors and assigns dated 9/10/2008 and recorded in Deed Book 872 Page 206 and modified at Deed Book 1058 Page 366 Stephens County, Georgia records; as last transferred to or acquired by PHH Mortgage Corporation s/b/m to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC, conveying the after-described property to secure a Note in the original principal amount of $88,736.00, with interest at the rate specified therein, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the Courthouse door of Stephens County, Georgia (or such other area as designated by Order of the Superior Court of said county), within the legal hours of sale on December 3, 2019 (being the first Tuesday of said month unless said date falls on a Federal Holiday, in which case being the first Wednesday of said month), the following described property:
