MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bid proposals for a cutaway van for Building and Grounds Department. Bids will be received by the Stephens County Board of Commissioners office, 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577. All bids submitted shall be clearly marked: Cutaway Van for Building and Grounds Department, and delivered to Mrs. Beth Rider, Stephens County Board of Commissioners Clerk, at the County Commissioner's Office, 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 on or before 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, March 13, 2020. All sealed bids will be publicly opened on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia and announced. No faxed or emailed bids will be received or accepted.
BIDS WILL BE FOR ONE (1) W5P0 TRANSIT 350 CUTAWAY VAN WITH A READING BODY MODEL #CSV75-SW OR EQUAL TO. All material bids should be as per Schedule "A".
Complete bid packages are available at the County Commissioner's office at the Historic Courthouse, 37 West Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All bidders shall provide an SAVE Affidavit and a W-9 which is enclosed with the bid proposal. Failure to provide documentation could make bid subject to rejection. O.C.G.A. & 13-10-990 GA Sect. & Immigration Compliance Act of 2006 shall also apply.
Stephens County reserves the right to reject or negotiate any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any technicalities. Stephens County further reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest reliable, responsible, bidder as determined to be in the best interest of Stephens County.

Sealed proposals from vendors will be received by the District 2 Public Health Regional Office, 1280 Athens Street, Gainesville, GA 30507, until 9:30 a.m. legally prevailing time on Friday, March 13th, 2020 for the procurement of all services, supplies, and labor required to install designated data drops and move and reestablish the Stephens County Health Departments server room located at 64 Boulevard, Suite 102, Toccoa, GA 30577.

All work must be completed during the window of May 22nd, 2020 through May 25th, 2020 to ensure limited clinical disruption and will work closely with the District IT Liaison who will be present during the move and oversee the project. It is preferred that bidding entities are licensed Mitel dealers.
All bidding entities must comply with District 2 Public Health policies and procedures and be able to provide three references and examples of your work upon request.
After the time and at the place noted above, the proposals will be publicly opened and read. No extension of the bidding period will be made.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after time has been called on the date of opening. District 2 Public Health reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities and informalities.
All bidding entities must comply with District 2 Public Health policies and procedures.

ABANDONMENT
The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will consider abandonment of Poole Lane from the county road system on the basis that it has ceased to be used by the public to the extent that no substantial public purpose is served by it and that its removal from the county road system is otherwise in the best public interest. This is to give notice that the Stephens County Board of Commissioners will consider the proposed abandonment at a meeting to be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 24, 2020 which will be held in the courtroom of the Stephens County Historic Courthouse located at 37 W. Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577. Poole Lane will be considered for abandonment at the meeting. Prior to considering the abandonment of Poole Lane the Stephens County Board of Commissioners shall conduct a public hearing 5:30 p.m. on March 24, 2020 pursuant to O.C.G.A. 32-7-2(b). This notice is provided pursuant to O.C.G.A. 32-7-2(b)(1).
