The Work-based Learning student of the month for January is Jordynne Randall.
Randall is currently a senior at Stephens County High School and works as a part-time retail associate at CK Morgan and Company in Toccoa.
“Jordynne’s dedication to her job is remarkable, and she is always willing to go above and beyond to help customers,” Michele Whiten, owner of CK Morgan and Company said.
Randall has completed many honors classes and two pathways while attending SCHS – Spanish and cosmetology.
“Jordynne was always eager to learn and practice her Spanish,” said Sherry Bratten, Randall’s Spanish instructor.
“She worked very hard in class and kept a positive attitude,” Bratten said.
“ She was also very helpful to me and the other students in the class. I loved having her in my class and Spanish Club,” Bratten said.
Sarah Brock, Jordynne’s cosmetology teacher, described her as “an absolute joy to be around and have in class. She is smart, hard-working, tenacious, and funny. She brings so much life to every room she is in. Her caring and joyous nature is always refreshing to be around.”
Randall’s academic achievements are a testament to her hard work and dedication and are already paying off in huge dividends.
She has already been accepted to several major universities including the University of Tennessee, University of Alabama and the University of Georgia.
In addition to the Spanish Club, Randall is also a member of the Anchor Club and Beta Club, and was selected as a SCHS Auxiliary Flagette all four years of high school.
Her positive attitude and willingness to help others have earned her the respect and admiration of both her teachers and classmates.
The student of the month for January was sponsored by Bulldogs Car Wash & Express Lube, SouthState Bank, and The Stephens County Development Authority.
