The Toccoa Symphony is ringing in the summer season with its annual Patriotic Pops Concert, taking place at Lake Toccoa on Sunday, June 27.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., but the gates will be open at 6 p.m. to set up your lawn chair or blanket.
This year, the concert will be held at Lake Toccoa, home of the Links at Lake Toccoa, Ping’s Grill, and the Lake Toccoa Event Facilities, in addition to a soon-to-be-open .7 mile handicapped accessible walking trail around the lake.
There is no need to pack a picnic basket or cooler.
Your concert ticket includes a summertime meal of a barbecue pork sandwich, coleslaw, chips, watermelon, brownie, and water catered by local favorite, Just Right Catering.
Vegetarian options are also available, and a cash bar will be available for other beverages. Make sure to check out the event’s signature cocktail – the Patriotic Punch.
After the concert, which will see your “red, white, and blue spirit” lifted, enjoy a fireworks display to end the evening, sponsored by Phillips Group, Inc.
Tickets are still available and are $25 for adults and $10 for children and include your meal.
Tickets can be purchased online, where other options for payment may be found.
Should you prefer to just enjoy the concert, tickets are only $15 at the door the day of the event.
Please note that those who want to sit on the Ping’s Grill patio to enjoy a lakeside meal will still need to pay the $15 cover charge the night of the event.
Due to limited parking, the Toccoa Symphony is asking that all attendees consider carpooling with other concertgoers.
Sponsors are 1st Franklin Financial, Phillips Group, Inc., the City of Toccoa, Fields Accounting and Consulting, LLC, and North Georgia Credit Union.
