    The 45th annual Toccoa Harvest Festivall will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30 in downtown Toccoa.
    Times for the festivities are Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30.
     Enjoy music and dancing while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of fall mingling with roasting peanuts, mulling spices, and regional and international foods. There will be more than 150 craft and food vendors.
     All crafts will be "homemade, home baked, or home grown," featuring jewelry, wind chimes, candles, soaps, hand-crocheted items, wreaths, wooden birdhouses and much more.
    Food trucks and food booths will provide a wide range of mouth-watering foods including homemade cakes and fried pies, funnel cakes, peanuts, Asian, Greek, and Cajun style entrees, barbecue and all American offerings as well.
     A classic car show will be held on Saturday, as well as children’s activities and rides such as horse and buggy rides,  on both days, will ensure that there is something for everyone.
    The Currahee Artist Guild will also have a show and sale as part of the festival.
    Continuous entertainment on two stages will feature live entertainment. Downtown Toccoa has antique markets, boutiques, restaurants, the Historical Society Museum, and Currahee Military Museum with World War II items from the Band of Brothers.

     The Stephens County Recreation Department will hold the Antique & Classic Car Cruise-In in conjunction with the Toccoa Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 29.
    The show will be held  at the intersection of Doyle and Foreacre streets below Troup’s Photo in downtown Toccoa.
    It will begin at 10 a.m. and will finish at 3 p.m.  
     A drawing will be held at 2 p.m. with door and cash prizes.
    The entry fee is $20. There will be no judging. If you pre-register you will be placed in the drawing for an additional $50 cash prize.  
     Wednesday, Oct. 26 is the deadline to pre-register. Come by the recreation department office at the Roselane Park or mail it in.

     Food vendors scheduled to appear at the festival are A&L Shaved Ice and Pretzels, Express Foods, Sweet Treats.
     Also, Step of Faith, Pontoon Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Thai Town, Sparky’s Kettle Corn.
     Also, The Donut Wagon, O’Hara’s Lemonade, Fine Food Nashville, Wiz BBQ, Mike’s On the Go food truck.

     Here is a list of entertainers scheduled for Stage 1 (Sage Street) on Saturday of the Harvest Festival.
     • The Toccoa Falls College Choir from 10-11 a.m.
    • Ginny King and the Belly Dancers from 11:15 a.m. to noon.
     • Rhythm Academy from noon to 1 p.m.
     • The Simple Life from 1:30-3 p.m.
     • Conrad Moore from 3:30-5 p.m.
      Scheduled to perform Sunday, Oct. 30 on Stage 1 are:
     • The Country River Band from noon to 2 p.m.
     • The Dance Studio from 2-3 p.m.
     • D-Earl from 3-4 p.m.
     Stage 2 on Doyle Street  will have entertainment Saturday and Sunday. The schedule is being determined.
