Citizens of Georgia Power put the finishing touches on stairs leading to a kayak/canoe launch site on Panther Creek at its connection with the Tugaloo River. Note the railing on the side of the steps which allows boaters to easily slide their kayaks/canoes down to the water’s edge.
Stephens County commissioner Michelle Ivester on Tuesday praised the work on installation of a kayak/canoe launch dock with concrete steps and railing at Yonah Dam Park.
