    Private 2nd Class  Tiana M. Teasley of Toccoa recently completed advanced individual training as  human resource specialist at Ft. Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
    She is the daughter of Reginald and Pamelia Teasley of Toccoa.
     Teasley graduated from Stephens County High School in May 2018. She then attended college at Georgia State University in Atlanta, summer and fall semester of 2018, but decided to start a new chapter in her life and joined the U.S. Army in January 2019.
    She attended 10 weeks of basic training starting in January 2019 at Ft. Jackson and earned the rank of Private (PVT). 
    She then graduated after nine  weeks of advanced individual training  and is now stationed in Camp Humphrey, South Korea.
     Her plans are to earn her nursing degree and retire from the Army.
