Wilkinson appointed study commission chair

State Sen. John Wilkinson (R – Toccoa) was recently appointed by Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan to chair the Senate Study Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Landscape Workforce Access. “I am honored and excited to chair this study committee and look forward to reviewing the various barriers and regulations that have an effect on workforce development in this industry,” said Sen. Wilkinson.

Police are looking for thw culprits who damaged the urns at Patriot Park.

Urns at Patriot Park in the City of Toccoa were damaged over the weekend. The park is located on Doyle Street across from Regions Bank.

Three Stephens County FFA students began their 2019-2020 livestock show season this past weekend at the Georgia Junior Beef Futurity show in Perry. Representing Stephens County were seniors Mary A
