NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF RIGHT TO REDEEM
Take notice that:
The right to redeem the following described property, to wit will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred as of five oclock (5 p.m.) on and after April 2, 2020 or 30 days after legal service of the Notice pursuant to OCGA 48-4-45., whichever date is later.
All that tract or parcel of land fronting about 150 feet on Savannah Street and starts at the alley adjoining Claude Sitton place and runs up said street about 150 feet, more or less, to Carter marks place, thence some 150 feet, more or less, to an alley, thence up said alley to the beginning corner. Being the same property deeded from Mrs. Marie B. Schaefer dated February 13, 1939, and recorded in Deed Book 27, Page 500, also deed from H. T. Mozeley, H. T. Green Administrator of H.T. Mozeley dated February 4, 1939, and recorded in Deed Book 27, Pages 499-500 to Mrs. O.A. Teasley. Being the same property conveyed from Willard White to Odis Hunt by Warrant Deed dated October 13, 1953, of record in Deed Book 58, page 163 of Stephens County records.
Also all that tract or parcel of land lying and being beginning at Claude Sitton corner of the N. side of Savannah Street and E side of alley, thence along Sitton line to Willard White corner 90 feet, thence N. along White line 50 feet to the Presley property, thence W. back to the alley; thence along the alley 50 feet, more or less, to the beginning corner. The same being the W. portion of the property deeded from Beck & Gregg Hardware Company to Mrs. O.A. Teasley dated and recorded in Deed Book 10 page 147, August 19, 1932, Being the same property conveyed from O. A. Teasley to O.W. Hunt by Warranty Deed dated May 11, 1944 of record in Deed Book 35, Page 346, of Stephens County records.
Also all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Toccoa, County of Stephens and State of Georgia and known as the Claude B. Sitton lot located on the N side of W Savannah Street in Block No 75, part of Lot 4 and bounded on the E by Willard White and the S by Savannah Street, on the N by Otis Hunt and on the W by Willard White, said lot fronting on Savannah Street 100 feet and running back 150 feet to Odis Hunt lot. Being the same property conveyed from O.A. Teasley to Odis Hunt by Warranty Deed dated October 8, 1946 of record in Deed Book 38, Page 515 of Stephens County records.
The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated April 2, 2019 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Stephens County, Georgia in Deed Book 1176, Pages 479-480.
The property may be redeemed on or before the time and date stated above by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address:
