NGMC carries out innovative surgery procedure

     Patients with liver cancer in the Southeast can stay closer to home and trust they’ll receive the latest, most advanced care as Northeast Georgia Medical Center recently completed the first histotripsy procedure in the state.

Toast of Toccoa festival postponed

   Food, beer, wine, arts, and entertainment will be part of Toccoa’s annual event this weekend, Toast of Toccoa.    This year’s festival is the seventh annual for the city, and last year’s event brought about 5,000 people to the downtown area.
