Tribute, an Allman Brothers tribute band, will perform Saturday, July 25, in downtown Toccoa as part of the 2020 Ida Cox Music Series. The opening act will begin at 7 p.m. with the eight-piece Tribute band taking the stage at about 8 p.m. The concert is free.

    Gov. Brian P. Kemp and Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey are calling on all Georgians to implement "Four Things for Four Weeks" into their daily routines to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19.
"...with the increase of patients being sick from the coronavirus, and with a growing shortage of testing supplies nation-wide, we are no longer able to provide testing to asymptomatic individuals," said SCH CEO Michael Hester.

    North Georgia Technical College has announced fall semester 2020 academic plans for returning to campus for students.     The Clarkesville, Currahee and Blairsville campuses will begin fall semester Aug.
