BY MICHAEL O’HEARN THE TOCCOA RECORD A former American Idol star is making his way to Toccoa tonight to perform at The Ritz Theatre.Will Moseley, the runner up of American Idol’s Season 22 last year, is a Hazlehurst, Georgia, native. His concert begins at 6 p.m.
The Toccoa Family Life Resource Center has opened a new headquarters. This is the first time in the organization’s 40 year history that it has had a permanent building in town. Toccoa man dies in Busha St. fire

County’s millage rate approved

BY J. TODD TRUELOVETHE TOCCOA RECORD Stephens County commissioners on Monday approved millage rates for the 2026 fiscal year of 27.45 mills for unincorporated and 29.69 mills for incorporated properties. That’s the total sum adding the school system’s recommended 13.
