The Toccoa Senior League team traveled to Florida this weekend and fell in two games on July 18 and July 20. The team is made up of Bentley Dunson, Landry Williams, Ryan King, Jasper Davenport, Dylan Elrod, Konner Brown, Thompson Bullard, Caden Hamilton, Isiah Patterson, Trey Pressley, Carmelo Renfroe, Seth Stonecypher, and Wyatt Rudeseal. The Stephens County High School football team held its Future Indians camp on Monday night, which teaches first through fifth grade students the fundamentals of playing football. Assistant coach David Poffenberger told The Record the event had 25 students participate and said the event is a great way to do community outreach. The Indians high school football team is hard at work finishing off the month of June practices this week before enjoying an off week next week. The Indians will resume practice on July 7.
