Malek found herself being picked up in the arms of Indian assistant
coach Leon Walker.

got the best of the Lumpkin County Indians in tennis here last Thursday.
The playoff run was short lived for the Stephens County Lady
Indians basketball team.
The Lady Indians qualified for the state tournament for the first
Cole Snyder’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning,
gave the Stephens County Indians their first baseball victory of the
season here last Friday.
The Stephens County Lady Indians will play Friday at 7 p.m. at
Gilmer County in the first round of the state tournament.
