Indians earn playoff spot

    The Stephens County Indians will be playing their first round of the state playoffs this week against North Murray. The Indians go into the match up as the 14th seed and North Murray is a seed 19 team.  The game will be on Friday, Nov. 15, at the Reservation with kick off starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Indians Softball Team Competes in the Sweet 16 Games

The Lady Indians advanced to the Sweet 16 round of the state playoffs after winning their first round in a doubleheader with Hart County on Wednesday, Oct. 16.  The first game was a close 7-6 win, but the second game was a 16-0 shut out by the Lady Indians. On Tuesday, Oct.

Rebels Improve 4-0 with Devils Defeat

    The Stephens County Rebels pulled off a 16-14 win over the Elbert County Blue Devils to improve 4-0 for their season.

Indians Dominate Cedar Shoals

The Stephens County Indians were on the road last week to Cedar Shoals in Athens, where they dominated the Jaguars 52-3. The triumph puts the Indians at 3-0 so far for the season as they prepare to travel to Jefferson County tomorrow (Sept. 6).

Softball Starts Season Strong

The Stephens County Lady Indians softball team opened the 2024 season with back to back wins in their first two games. The first game played on the road against Commerce on Aug. 1 was a 12-3 domination by the Indians, the first home game was played on Aug.

Rebels Football Season Launches Next Week

   On Wednesday, Aug. 7 the Rebels take the field for their first game of the 2024 season. The game is a scrimmage against Jefferson at The Reservation starting at 5:30 p.m.

 For the second year in a row, the Stephens County Lady Indians have two cheerleaders selected in the top 30 for the Georgia Cheer Coach’s Association (GCCA) Cheerleader of the Year.

Wilson takes charge of summer boys basketball practice

  The Stephens County Indians basketball team is under new leadership this year with new head coach Greg Wilson. Wilson and his Indians have already started preparing for the upcoming season by holding summer practices in June.

Ward named to 2024 Top 100

   Stephens County Indian Findley Ward was named to the 2024 Georgia Underclassman Top 100 by the Georgia Dugout Club (GADC). On June 20 and 21, Ward and the other 99 athletes chosen for this honor participated in a showcase at Marietta High School.
