Indians volleyball falls in four games

Indians football defeats Cedar Shoals

BY LAURA SHAWTHE TOCCOA RECORD    The Indians hosted their home opener on Friday night against Cedar Shoals, whom they beat 13-7.   Cedar Shoals won the coin toss and opted to receive, so Luke Waters kicked off with the ball going down the Jaguars’ 20-yard line.

Lady Indians softball defeats Habersham Central

BY LAURA SHAWTHE TOCCOA RECORD    The SCHS Lady Indians softball team started region play this week with two region games against Hebron Christian and Prince Avenue. They also played a makeup game against Habersham Central on Aug. 27, where they won 9-2.
Prior to the Stephens County-Cedar Shoals football game on Friday, Aug. 29, the Stephens County Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was inducted. The Class of 2025 includes Ken Swilling, Julius Dixon, Charlton Veazey, Shana Smith, Charlie Greene, Anthony Harrison, Lance Skelton, Jerry Brown, Eldorado Cochran, and Leigh Wilbanks. This week, the Indians host Jefferson for their homecoming game. The kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Laura Shaw/The Toccoa Record

Indians softball smashes Tallulah Falls

BY LAURA SHAWTHE TOCCOA RECORD    The Stephens County Lady Indians won big on Monday night, beating the Tallulah Falls Indians 15-0 in three innings. Tuesday, they started region play against Hebron Christian, and today (Aug. 28), they will be on the road to face Prince Avenue with a 4:45 p.m.

Lady Indians volleyball trounces Rabun County, 2-1
