BY TOM LAWTHE TOCCOA RECORD    The Stephens County Indians erased a 10-point fourth quarter deficit against East Jackson County here last Friday night to force overtime and then seized control in the extra period to win 69-63 over the Eagles in a Region 8-AA basketball game.

Stephens County High School got a new football coach this year in Thomas Flowers, who was the team’s defensive coach when former head coach Wes Tankersley was in charge. The gridiron gang performed well this fall, ending the season with a 6-6 record.
