     Renowned fiddler and storyteller Connor Civatte of Glasgow, Scotland, will perform  at Steadfast Family Farm on Sunday, Aug. 27.      The free concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.with donations proceeds going to support the ministry of the farm.      The farm is located at 556 N.

Carlisle appointed to Board of Corrections

       Stephens County elections supervisor Bruce Carlisle has been assigned a position to the state board of corrections.      The board’s 19 members are appointed by the governor, with state senate consent, and serve staggered five year terms.
