Two running for BOC Post 5 seat

The Currahee Club in Stephens County was sold to CCDEV Holdings, LLC, last week. Troon, the world’s largest golf club management company, will oversee the daily operations of the community.

BY MICHAEL O’HEARNTHE TOCCOA RECORD The Currahee Artist Guild may soon cease to exist in its current form.Marjorie Yergin, former secretary of the Guild, told The Toccoa Record last week the building used by the guild in downtown Toccoa will soon be put up for sale.

BY TOM LAWTHE TOCCOA RECORD     The African Children’s Choir will perform Sunday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Toccoa on Tugalo Street.  The choir features 17 children ages 8-11 from Uganda who present a show that blends traditional hymns and African cultural sounds.
