 A late Habersham field goal ended Stephens County Middle School’s quest for a second straight conference championship here Monday.                         Earlier this season, the Rebels won the middle school verson of the Battle of Currahee Mountain against Habersham.

Stephens County Middle heads to third consecutive title game

The Stephens County Middle School football team is headed to their third straight Northeast Georgia Interscholastic Athletic Association championship game.         The Rebels accomplished the feat when they defeated Rabun County 12-7 Wednesday, Oct. 21, in Toccoa.

Stephens County football takes back Currahee Mountain against Habersham

After losing the Battle of Currahee Mountain for the first time since 1996 last season, the Stephens County football team restored order in the rivalry. Stephens County got vengeance when they won the Battle of Currahee Mountain against Habersham Central 27-12 last Friday at the Reservation.

Stephens County Middle reaches win 225 in school history over Franklin County

Win 225 was reached last Wednesday for Stephens County Middle School. According to SCMS head Coach Matt Miller the Rebels won their 225th game in program history when they defeated Franklin County 34-20 at the Reservation.
